Now that twitter has officially banned Donald Trump permanently and he will be leaving office in less than 2 weeks, I think it is safe to say that the Trump era is coming to a close.

I really hope so, he didn't do anything to stop Covid-19 and let 300K people die, and didn't do anything to stop the riots either. This is why the economy is at a big recession, not thinking nor' protecting.

It really depends on what he does, but I'm certain his importance will diminish compared to his present stature. He may start his own TV show or YouTube channel and gain a decent following, or people may realize he's powerless and a crybaby and he fucks off into the sun. Either way he isn't head honcho anymore, and that's good for the world.

I just hope that after he's gone, the media doesn't talk about him as much as he wants. His whole presidency should be regarded as a dark chapter of American history.

The good thing is we have a new government coming in, and hopefully one that will take labeling them as domestic terrorists seriously (and responding in kind).

Some of them are or were apparently planning "armed protests" in all 50 states at government buildings. Plus, Trump called these people "wonderful patriots", so they're not gonna give up without a fight.

We've already been through this before with last year's civil unrest, so hopefully, these law enforcement officials better fortify these government buildings.
