What a frustrating song. It's as if the song wants to fully rock out, but something is restraining it from doing so. You also get the impression that the "burn for you" bridge is going to lead to an epic chorus, but unfortunately, it never comes. It's a shame, because I think it could have been a pretty decent song had those improvements been made and I actually don't mind Mod Sun's vocals. I also believe the overall look and sound of this is a nice ode to Avril Lavigne's early career.
