For a second I thought this would be about the decade 23/24 were similar to my early 20s. 25+ though no.

Stopped most drinking, stopped most partying, got a promotion at work ($$$), started dressing and being perceived as more mature, grew a beard, hit the gym etc.

So far it's been mostly the same for me, but I never partied or did any of the crazy stuff. More gradual maturing.

This is an old thread. But in my personal opinion age does not equate to life stage. At least once one enters their 20s. People develop differently. Some people go wild in their early 20s, then calm down in their mid-late 20s. Some people settle down in their early 20s, some people party throughout their entire 20s. Some people don't party at all in their 20s, and start doing so in their 30s. Some people choose to get married have kids, some people don't. Some people are career-oriented, some people are not. Everyone is different.

I can only speak from my own personal experience, but age 24 has felt like a bit of a minor change for me.
I feel like i'm gradually entering a new stage of my adulthood. I'm older than most university students now and I just feel as though i'm slowly leaving my youth/early 20s phase. It's not too drastic of a change and i'm still pretty much the same person as I was in my early 20s. However, I definitely feel a bit of a difference in mindset. The most telling sign is that I've started to refer to 18 and 19 year olds as "kids", lol.

I only ask because it seems most people who do go the typical youth experiences tend to feel this way. People who didn't go through the youth milestones/life experiences may still feel in that youth phase. For me personally I'm just now starting to get into those youthful things (social life, exploring interests/passions, experiencing different things, etc.) I know those things are exclusive to youth, but as someone who's turning 30 in October, I want to allow myself to experience the more youthful side of life, even if it's just for like 5-6 years. I don't want to be forced to conform to the boring mature lifestyle.
