I am back searching that site with a plethora of history: newspapers.com
Today’s subject is of members of the Greatest Generation and older’s criticism of their Silent and Baby Boomer children’s taste in music during the 1950s and 1960s.
As usual with these threads I’ll (try) to update more when I’m not lazy enough to clip more.
The last article is horrifying. Like something you would see on r/askreddit about crazy parents. I think it was meant to be satire but I have a bad feeling that was probably what actually happened during the summer of 1966 with some families after John Lennon’s comment was taken out of context.
