 We haven't had new atmosphere topics in a while and I've taken quite a lot of photos over the years which might be good for these type of threads, so I thought I would have a go at doing one.  These are pictures I took in the Sydney CBD (downtown) just over two weeks ago, on the 7th February. I feel as though they are a pretty decent depiction of what life is like here in Australia in February 2021.

Its the summer time down under. I heard on daily average there are less than 10 new covid cases in all of Australia. So kudos to you guys.

I like that social distancing sign. I guess certain places in Australia require masks & certain places don’t. People there seem happier than people in the U.S. Yeah, masks are only required on public transport now (at least here in the state I live in). Some hospitals and businesses still require their employees to wear masks though for precautionary reasons, which is why the female zoo worker with the emu is wearing a mask. We have essentially eliminated local community transmission. My state (New South Wales) hasn't had a new local case of COVID-19 for 39 consecutive days. This is what we probably would've had in America had the previous administration actually gave more of a shit to contain this virus. Hopefully by the time you guys enter summer things will slowly start to resemble normality. Joe Biden is doing great things, and his administration is on track to reach 100 million shots within his first 100 days in office. Things will get better!
