In 2020, we saw a transition 2 remote working & distance learning thanks 2 COVID. Now we're reliant on video call apps like Zoom, FaceTime, Skye, etc. I'd say we're in a transition or in Web 3.0 era. I'm undecided. What do u think? IMO: 1990s-2002: Web 1.0 era 2003-2005: transition 2006-2010s: Web 2.0 era web 2.0 started with myspace in 2004

I think we are in the transition to Web 4.0 due to the rollout of 5G. Web 3.0 started around 2011 with the rollout of smartphones and tablets.

web 2.0 started with myspace in 2004 Thanks. I'll edit my chart. I was unsure on the dates. I'll just put late 2004 as the start of Web 2.0 era as that's when Myspace blew up, but 2004 was still a pre-YouTube world. But then again YouTube probably didn't blow up until late 2006 or 2007. Correct me if I'm wrong. youtube blew up Summer 2006, with it making time magazine cover in the fall 2006
