2014 is a very weird year for me. 1st half(technically first 8 months but w/e) was literally the best time of my life but the rest of the year is the second worst time of my life.

1998-2002: all amazing years, can’t decide which half was better in any of those years 2003 - first half 2004 - second half 2005 - first half 2006 - second half 2007 - first half 2008 - second half 2009 - both halves sucked, can’t decide 2010 - second half 2011 - both halves rocked, can’t decide 2012 - second half 2013 - first half 2014 - both halves rocked, can’t decide 2015 - second half 2016 - both halves rocked, can’t decide 2017 - both halves sucked, can’t decide 2018 - second half 2019 - both halves rocked, can’t decide 2020 - first half mainly because part of it was a pre-quarantine world, even if COVID-19 was already a serious threat. 2021 - second half, things seem to be moving slightly quicker than in the first half, right now seems slightly more pop culture and in your face than the first half First half of 2021 feels like a billion years ago

First half of 2001 was more peaceful, but the second half had much better pop culture.
I think 2004 was an amazing year across the board, but the second half was even better. CN City, The Incredibles, Halo 2, Half-Life 2, GTA San Andreas.

First half of 2001 and first half of 2004 felt super boring ( with 2001 being EXTRA boring) Both of their second halves were thrill ride
