I assumed you guys have heard about the shootings that happened in Atlanta. If you don't live in the US, a suspect name Robert Aaron Long killed 8 people, six of them were Asian women. The shooting has sent shock waves around the country(and the world). I hate the fact that people say that this wasn't racially motivated. IT WAS. The guy targeted those places specifically even if his motive wasn't explicitly to kill Asians. The attack is absolutely racial.

It’s horrendous, disgusting & sickening that racism is still prevalent, leading 2 violence. When we as a society should be advancing into the 21st century, we’re going backwards. I rarely watch the news because of how depressing it is. 2021 is the 21st year of the 21st century 4 crying out loud! Americans chant how they’re forward thinking & accepting, yet they fail 2 practice what they preach. What a shame what our world has come 2. Yeah, America is kinda bullshit. I got my hair cut yesterday by some rando hairstylist and she was ranting at me about closing the border and such in order to keep out The Illegals™, yada yada. And then she said she wanted to shoot Democrats. And this wasn't some crazed, mentally ill exmilitary racist, but just some average Karen. This country is beyond fucked.

I was also getting a haircut recently & my hairstylist mentioned how she doesn’t watch the news anymore. I told her that I also avoid the news unless it’s about the weather, stores closing & or opening. She asked me if it’s about the same or gotten worse. I replied it’s gotten worse because I don’t remember it being this bad when I was a kid in the 2000s. She’s said she’s much older than I am. In her teens & early 20s, she didn’t pay attention 2 the news because she was 2 busy being a teenager & young adult. I told her I’m currently in my early 20s. She said she feels sorry 4 me. She mentioned how her parents had it better than her since they grew up in the 1960s. She brought up that they lived the “Leave it to Beaver” carefree lifestyle. They left house & car doors unlocked. Now her son lives in Portland 4 university. He keeps nothing in his car. He has a sign out pleading “U can come in my car. Please don’t smash my windows.” She told me how security guards on college campuses want 2 be cops. A cop tried giving her a ticket because she was in a parking space, even if she was in the car with the engine running. She stood her ground. She was in a cuddle sac or dead end area. Honestly it’s sad, pathetic & lame. I can’t help, but wish I grew up in a different era. Woah that’s pretty fucked up your hairstylist was saying all that. I’m surprised no one called the cops on her. I don’t know if she’s white or what, but if it was 4 example an African American person saying they want 2 shoot democrats, then they’d get they’re ass whooped & serve a lifetime sentence. Yeah America is screwed. It’s no longer the place 2 be like back in the 1980s, 1990s & even the 2000s. Now it’s the place 2 flee. It seems now a days people believe that their gender, sexual orientation, political beliefs, religion, race & political beliefs r the only stuff that makes up their personality. Cough cough Lily Singh whose a brown bisexual woman.
