Boulder Shooting - Perspective & Response

Four days ago, I was at a bar having beer & a burger when I first looked up at the television and saw the news that another mass shooting had just occurred within the confines of my home state.
I was by no means surprised, given that these events have unfortunately became a new normal, and we've already had plenty of shootings occur this year already, I'm not even solely talking about the Atlanta shooting either.
But since it's been a few days and since it's sparked a new push from Joe Biden and the rest of the Democratic Party on gun reform, which has predictably sparked fury amongst conservatives, I thought I would share my piece with you all on this subject at hand.
Now, while I do honestly consider myself more left-wing than right-wing as of recently, being that I'm against nationalism, capitalism (not markets, markets aren't synonymous with capitalism contrary to popular belief), and multiple forms of oppressive social hierarchy, I am however against gun control.
It's a myth that gun control is an inherently left-wing viewpoint, in fact if anything it's an inherently right-wing viewpoint, since it serves a system of hierarchy rather than a system of equality. If only the police and military have guns, then the police and military have unprecedented power over a defenseless population, and amongst civilians, a weaker victim is completely defenseless against a stronger perpetrator.
The primary reason why people falsely associate gun control with the left is because the Democratic Party of the United States, as well as multiple liberal parties throughout the western world, support it. However, the Democratic Party and these other liberal parties are not left-wing at all, as they are funded by capitalist interests, specifically finance capitalists that operate and consolidate power & influence on a global scale, who view a well armed population as a potential threat to this outreach, which explains why they want gun control passed, and will take advantage of tragedies such as this one to get the national public on board with these policies (and before you say anything, no, I'm not at all suggesting that these mass shootings are "false flags", they were absolutely legitimate and were not staged, I'm just simply saying these capitalists and lawmakers are taking advantage of these tragedies to advance their goals).
The mainstream conservative right within the western world is also not above gun control, either, contrary to popular belief. Sure, currently they support guns rights as a means of promoting Gun Culture within the white base of their political parties, which primarily serve as instruments of terror to keep minority populations as a vulnerable pocket of the working class, as these conservative parties are primarily supported by domestic capitalists who benefit financially from forcing racial minorities within the working class to accept a lower wage. However, these conservative factions will still support gun control when it's convenient for them to, such as when Ronald Reagan did it at a time when the Black Panthers were arming themselves in self-defense. Even Donald Trump, yes, Donald Trump, supported efforts to expand gun control on multiple occasions during his presidency.
Also, Karl Marx, one of the most prominent and influential figures within left-wing politics, had this to say regarding gun control - The whole [working class] must be armed at once with rifles, cannon, and ammunition. Any attempts to disarm the workers must be frustrated by force if necessary.
Case in point, gun control is a right-wing policy, not a left-wing one, concluded.
I can understand and sympathize with why so many people do want gun control, because they're afraid for their lives. Furthermore, I believe that Gun Culture amongst white conservatives is also a problem that needs to be dealt with.
But here's a thing though, Colorado already has gun restrictions, and it didn't stop what happened in Boulder. We already have gun control, and it failed. Case in point, gun control is not the solution to the problem.
All that being said though, while I am against gun control, I'm not as passionate anymore as I used to be about making sure the federal government doesn't pass it as I used to be, primarily because I understand that the federal government does not have my best interests or your best interests at heart, and are looking to serve themselves above all else.
The same federal government that both mainstream liberals are looking to protect them with gun control and mainstream conservatives are looking to protect them with the 2nd Amendment, is the same federal government that bombs schools and villages within poor countries in Africa and the Middle East on a consistent basis, and uses false flags, such as the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, "Humanitarian Aid" in Libya, Chemical Weapons in Syria (which any research can tell you was a fabricated event), ISIS in Iraq and Syria (which the US has funded and trained for years beforehand), and even 9/11 (US Government knew about it well in advance and had a history of funding groups connected to the attacks), all to justify these illegal, destabilizing, and self-serving regime change wars within the region so that the capitalist interests lobbying these politicians can extract resources from these countries. It's also why the US is posing an antagonistic tone towards a nuclear armed Russia and China, because those countries are taking a stand against the US bullying the rest of the world. (thankfully, God will not allow a nuclear war, both the Bible and the NDE testimony of Howard Storm make clear of this, although other problems are likely to arise instead).
But case in point, the US Government are not the good guys, they are the bad guys, and we should not be looking up to them to protect us with either gun control or the 2nd Amendment, because what they will do is only in seeking of their own selfish interests.
If we want to protect our communities from gun violence, we need to re-engage as communities, and re-establish a communal connection so that nobody feels like an outcast.
Too many young individuals are seeking support from the internet, from people just like them, who think, talk, and act like them, which only creates an echo chamber and motivates specific individuals within these online boards to carry out a specific act, even if it's at the expense of innocent people. We need to re-establish the local, face-to-face, touch-to-touch (no, that's not a sexual innuendo), communal connection that has been lost with the advent of fast internet and social media.
If you want to help out in this endeavor, look for ways to get involved within your local community. Support local business. Join clubs within your community. Maybe get involved with your church. Set up a community fridge. Get involved.
Re-establishing communal connection and making everyone within the community feel like they belong and are not an outcast is the best way we can deal with this situation at hand, guarantee it.
