I don't have personal memories of 2000-2002 but just ranking in terms of how good it was.

10) 2000 1.2002 2.2008 3.2000 4.2003 5.2009 6.2004 7.2005 8.2006 9.2001 10.2007 Tbh I prefer the first and second half of 2004, the summer wasn’t bad but there wasn’t that much going on. Summer 2001 was very very empty and stale imo, and kind of depressing because of it. 2007 was the worst summer in the entire decade. I give early summer 2000 credit for having a few good 99/00 vibes left which made it a bit better, even though towards the end it was a bit stale.

Summer 2001 as we both covered in depth, Long in the tooth, stupid fads, slowing economy, It deserves to be low ranking lol I voted 2007 below 2001 because I feel 2007's summer was worse. We both put 2009 over 2007 which is interesting, 2009 Summer kind did suck but it was miles better then 2007. 2002 VERY WORTHY of earning that top spot despite me ranking it #2, Summer 2002 was just ALIVE , Fun, Fun movies, Fun music, just SUCHHHHHHHHHH a good summer. I can't see anyone ranking Summer 2002 low.
