It's more like power pop with indie vocals and a touch of "Misery Business" on the chorus, but great song nonetheless.

This song's a grower on me. I think it's catchy and captures the 2000s pop punk influence well. And the 4:3 letterbox format also reminds me how music videos and shows were shown in 4:3 on most TV as well in the 2000s.

Dang John Titor is not lying. It looks like Pop Punk is making a comeback. I was skeptical at first, but John you prove me wrong.

I was laughed out of the building on the "other forum" in 2018 when I said this was going to happen. I said give 2 1/2 years for it to kick off and it will be everywhere.

Lol a rock song at number 1 on the Billboard in years, and it took 2000s nostalgia to do so. Absolute mad respect to Olivia.

I've just finished listening to this for the first time.
This isn't pop-punk. It's a substandard pop-rock song with indie/alternative influences. For a mainstream pop song in 2021, it's actually quite rocky and i'm surprised its doing as well as it is on the charts. The drumming after the chorus kind of reminds me of the beginning of "Stay" by Nirvana. Tbh, I wouldn't say I like it. It's not terrible, but its definitely not a song I see myself choosing to listen to.
