First off it is crazy that all of the early 2000s borns (including myself) have graduated or are about to graduate from high school and are now pursuing college, going into the army, or attending the workforce. It just shows that we’ve come a long way from being innocent little kids from our elementary school days into maturing and growing teenagers from our middle and high school days and will now experience the real world as adults. A lot know what they are going to do in the future while a lot do not know what lies ahead for their future.
Now with that being said, the classes of 2020 and 2021 have been hit hard with COVID, especially the class of 2020, since both couldn’t have a normal graduation unlike the previous classes in the past. Here’s the big question. Since more COVID vaccines are being delivered and that more restrictions on masks are being uplifted by some states, will the class of 2022 (late 2003-mid 2004 borns) have a normal graduation?

Feels so weird that some places have the "late year - mid year" format for cutoffs. Where I'm from its always just been one year. Everyone born in 2002 is c/o 2020, 2003 c/o 2021, 2004 c/o 2022, etc.

Here in the U.S. the cutoff is usually September.

As far as I'm concerned this is the right way to do it, I think some states do it this way as well. Can't imagine how different my life would be growing up if the cutoff were September.

Now nearly all the early 2000s borns graduated. High school in 2021-22 will be dominated by mid 2000s borns.

Depends what country you're talking about, some countries haven't even vaccinated half of their population *gasp*.
I hope college will go back to normal by then.
