Absolutely awful news, I feel so sorry for the deceased and the people who remain missing.

I saw the footage of it. Half of the building fell off, then, a few seconds later, the other half collapsed...
I imagine the people in the second half of the building knew what was coming for them, they had enough time to process it after seeing it happen to the first half. Sad tragedy.

Terrible, I read it is because the building had been sinking since the 90s and had shoddy construction

I can’t imagine falling asleep at night only to hear and feel the building collapse and possibly be dead or seriously injured. Praying for the people who are missing and who are injured.

Something about this tragedy really bothered me more than any other has and I don’t even live in Florida or have relatives that lived there. I think for me it was seeing the footage, I felt sick to my stomach watching what I thought was someone flickering on their lights of the second part of the building after they probably heard the first part go down. The second half only stayed up for a couple seconds after that not leaving anyone time to react or do anything about it. For me it’s the fact probably 100+ poor people suddenly dying in their sleep while they were just trying to live their lives. It was hard to watch.

I was in Miami Beach the past few days. Really shocked when the news happen. Hopefully, they will find the rest of the missing victims. Such a shame what happened to those who didn't make it RIP.
