So I was at Claire's today picking something up for a friend and this girl (who looked 22-24 ish) said " ugh is that Passion Pit on the radio" what a cringe band . Please turn that off"
For those who don't know Passion Pit and Passion Pit style vocals were huge in the mid 2010s Hipster peak

OoOmMmGgG they’re sSsOoO 2010s! Reminds me of the backlash teen pop got in 2001. this is happening way 2 much to ignore the backlash lol I stated a week ago seeing Fast 9 the movie makes front of 2010s hipsters as well

Meh, most people still dress up like psedu-grunge/hipsters I'll only believe in a "backlash" when people actually stopping wearing that stuff, it's still inescapable. Tho street-wear is also pretty popular rn, but that's also a 2010s thing lol
