As we all know, Blu-Rays aren't popular anymore thanks to streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. This brings up the question. When DID Blu-Rays peak in popularity? My vote goes to the early 2010s. They already won against HD DVD, and were quickly catching on, especially since streaming wasn't as ubiquitous as it is today. Between the years of 2008 to 2011 I'd say they were most popular. You saw so many Blu-Ray ads during that time.
