Will social media forever remain a toxic environment?

Over the past half decade, social media environment has become toxic with cancel culture, political correctness, Karens, Kevins, liberals vs conservatives and SJWs vs Alt Right. I do not see any signs of these aspects slowing down.

Do you think social media will forever remain a toxic environment?

I hope not, but realistically I think it will because people are so divided, melodramatic and overly-sensitive today.
