www.thedailybeast.com/kanye-west-compares-living-with-estranged-wife-kim-kardashian-to-jail-in-new-song-report-saysAfter playing a song about his divorce from Kim Kardashian, Kanye West began crying onstage at a listening party in Las Vegas for his new album, Donda, The Sun reports. The song “Welcome to My Life” reportedly features lyrics about the breakdown of West’s marriage, his Twitter meltdowns, and his failed presidential campaign. West compares his Calabasas home with Kardashian to jail, saying: “Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas” in the track, according to The Sun. A source at the party told the paper the song is a “very deep” reflection on his marriage with Kardashian. “He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything. After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried,” the source told The Sun. West’s tenth album, which is expected to be released Friday, is named after his mother, Donda West, who passed away in 2007. Her death reportedly forced West into a “deep depression.” West and Kardashian married in Italy in 2014 and had four children together: North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. Kardashian filed for divorce in February, citing irreconcilable differences.

Gotta separate the art from the artists. Kanye and his (ex) family are the definition of trashy. yet even his bad (recent) work is still worth checking out.
Kinda wish he'd stop being relevant tho

Wow Kanye has been relevant since the 2004-2005 academic year. I am sure more rappers that are still relevant today were relevant back in the early to mid 2000s, but I cannot think of any other rappers besides Kanye. I also feel like he overstayed his welcome. I will not be surprised if Kanye flops badly. I do not feel sorry for him. I remember the Kanye hate being real in 2017 and 2018 lol. I once walked into a Goodstock mall store around late May to June 2018 when I was 20 years old, saw “Fuck Kanye West” on hats, shirts and other merchandise lmao. I thought his last album (the gospel one) was a pretty big flop. HipHopNation on SiriusXM played a few songs but they never really caught on.

I can't fully sympathize with him due to his ties to the Trumps and all the racist and misogyny bs he has said in the past, but he had some really ugly public mental breakdowns. It's clear he is in a really bad place mentally since the early to mid 10s. It reminds me of Britney in the late 00s, except Britney didn't start supporting Bush and the iraq war lol, and she did accept medical help, unlike Kanye. I'm surprised Kanye West hasn't converted to scientology yet, he seems like the perfect victim

He's so exhausting. His music career is tiredly directionless after Life of Pablo.
