Time and time again people say theaters will die, but they never do Exactly this Fall we have a ton of movies coming that will bring pop culture water cooler " type hype Venom 2 Spider-man No way Home ( The return of King Toby Maguire) No Time to Die Ghostbusters Jackass 4 ( the final Jackass ever) Top Gun 2 Matrix 4 ( despite being on HBO max as well I still think people will come out for this like Space Jam did)

Wow, all these movies are trash You hate the Matrix and the OG Spider-man films ? you hate James bond ? Can we get something other than remakes and sequels? THAT is the problem with the current movie industry. Remakes and sequels are actually enjoyable in moderation, but that's the focus on the entire film industry at the current time. I think they have jumped the shark.

Wow, all these movies are trash You hate the Matrix and the OG Spider-man films ? you hate James bond ? I hate cash-grab sequels to movies that never needed sequels. I have 0 interest on sequels to sequels of cheesy super hero movies, and the only james bond movie i ever liked was Casino Royale. All i see is sequels and reboots and remakes.

I hope the complete failure of that chinese disney movie with the tomboy - whatever it was called - signifies the end of this era. But children and their Gen X/Millennial parents eat that shit up everytime!!!

I kind of did when the trend first started, but it's getting harder and harder to think of popular films from my childhood that haven't seen a remake or a sequel over the past few years. Also, no matter how hyped people get, the remakes/sequels usually never leave you feeling the same way the original did.
