Which is your favorite late decade-part? The hippie era, disco era, NES era, dot-com era, snap era, or Trump era. If you vote the Trump era, you’re wrong LOL Just kidding, justify your choice. My personal pick would have to go to the late 1990s. I love the Y2K aesthetic, PS1/N64 games, techno-optimism, rapidly rising internet, the rise of Cartoon Network, Golden Age South Park, sci-Fi movies, etc. I also love the late 2000s for the Beijing Olympics not ruined by a pandemic, early Web 2.0, The Dark Knight, fantastic Pixar movies, teencoms at their peak, Phineas and Ferb, and we elected a black president to replace Bush. My least favorite should be obvious if you know me, and also my last thread. Ranked: 1. Late 1990s 2. Late 2000s 3. Late 1970s 4. Late 1960s 5. Late 1980s 6. Late 2010s

I personally love all of them. here's how i rank them:
1. Late 60s because it completely blew the boring early 60s and the contrived 50s out of the water.
2. Late 00s because of politics, video games and music.
3. Late 90s because of how quick technology was evolving back then (+ y2k and music)
4. Late 70s because of disco and other music trends
I think it's still too early to rank the late 10s, i think we might have an entirely different view of the late 10s a few years from now, it depends on how the 20s roll out.

Early 60s weren’t just boring, they were very tragic due to things like the Cuban Missile Crisis and major celebrity deaths like Marilyn Monroe and John F Kennedy. Anyways, the late 60s have lots of great music like peak Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. The start of New Hollywood. I also like the psychedelic hippie aesthetic of the era. Oh, and we landed on the moon. That seems like a big deal.

Late 1990s because of the laughable Y2K hysteria, music of all genres especially rap and RnB, fashion, gaming, economy, cost of living, upbeat vibe, energy, atmosphere. I was also born in the most late 1990s year, 1998. Late 1990s was not so uptight or constipated like the mid 1990s. Late 1990s did not take themselves seriously which is why I love that era of the 1990s. Thank goodness grunge died out in 1996 or 1997. I liked how sitcoms got even more edgy and extreme like Subrina the Teenage Witch. Wrestling got edgy around 1996 or 1997 from what I have heard. The earliest early 2000s influences can be traced back to those years.

Adventures of Sabrina was Edgy to me. I think Buffy the TV series was more edgier because the movie (released in 92) was although fun it was very shallow and somewhat foregotten.

While I do like the music of the late 60s/ and 70s, But For me personally I chose late 1990s but I really mean 1999. 1998 just was a bad year for me. Most my favorite 90s memories come from that year. I miss when people we’re excited for it to be the 2000s and everyone had hope for the future.

Late 00s because it was the core years of my childhood, the last times there were oldschool core 00s things that were still mainstream(albeit holding on for dear life) like sixth gen gaming. The music was great as well. You had really good electropop bangers and also some really nice classic pop or RnB or rock type music.
