From the wikipedia articled about 2020s fashion: "The spring of 2020 was characterised by a rejection of the form-fitting 2010s fashion in the UK, Asia, Latin America and Europe, due in part to the coronavirus lockdown and a resurgence of interest in late 1990s to early 2000s fashion. Fairtrade, vintage and vegan friendly clothing free from wool and leather went mainstream in reaction to the needless disposal of unsold fast fashion clothes, and also in response to the closure of high street stores during the coronavirus pandemic"
"Beginning in 2020, the wearing of a full beard associated with the hipster subculture underwent a decline"
The backlash is real lol.
Indeed, 2020s has established itself very fast. So far it just seems to be a backlash against 2010s fashion. Pretty much every trend from the 10s are being reversed.

The only thing i disagree with on that Wikipedia article is that it says (on the menswear topic) "long bermuda shorts are replacing the short shorts of the 2010s" Were short shorts (for men) even a thing in the 2010s? Are long shorts a 2020s thing? If anything, it seems men's shorts are getting... Shorter. I noticed women's fashion is getting less "conservative", probably because of the current 2000s revival, i wouldn't be surprised if mcbling whaletails make a comeback

Fashion is still mostly identical to 2019 with a few exceptions that only really took off around spring 2021.

I am sure this will last until 2023 or early 2024. More like the base there were a few modifications around spring and late winter 2021

Yeah early 20s fashion is here. I like it better than the late 2010s. It’s more fun, colorful, and just way less basic than before. So glad skinny jeans are losing popularity as well

I like the big hair clips trend with girls. It's really cute. My sister recently got some.

Are joggers still in, dying or dead? Lol I don’t know because I don’t keep up with the latest fashion trends. All I recall was that they were really popular in 2014 and 2015 with almost every guy wearing them. People still wear them but it's not something you would call stylish nowadays.
