Just some similarities to point out:
-Haiti has a dangerous earthquake -The economy is fucked -Cartoon Network is airing live-action shows again -iCarly is back -We recently elected a Democratic president -Neomourphic aesthetics -Trollface and rage comic memes are making comebacks -Justin Bieber is popular

IMO the only similarity between 2010 and 2021 is with 2009 (recession) and 2020 (pandemic) both being shitty years for different reasons, and 2010 and 2021 being the aftermath/recovery of that. That's really it though IMO, the rest is just semantics (Justin Bieber has been popular since 2010, it's not like he's making a comeback), and I haven't heard at all about rage comics coming back. These types of topics feel kind of decadeology-y to me tbh.

Well, rage comics did comeback but its done in an ironic and exaggerated manner than being used as as life stories in the early 2010s:

I'm admittedly not the best at naming topics, but then again, I feel if I titled it "2010 and 2021 similarities", this topic would've been flagged for decadeology.

2021 feels like a near-repeat of 2020, if you ask me.

2020 and 2021 both feel exactly the same. Tbh most of 2020 till the present fell like the same year, we are kind of like in middle of 2020 if it was a proper year.

2021 seems like the opposite of 2010 to be honest. It's say 2021 may be 2009's evil twin.
In 2010, the momentum in society still favored progressives. Today, it favors reactionary social conservatives. 2010 was a very Millennial-driven culture. 2021 is very boomer driven.
Bedroom pop is the opposite of electropop.
