I mean to ask if you see those devices dying off soon. If so, what will replace them? I remember flip phones being dead by the early or mid 2010s. iPhones still seem to be going strong. They only got popular in the early 2010s. When augmented reality and vr become popular, replacing physical devices all together (including TVs)

When will it happen? I don't know if we have the tech to make it happen, but i heard apple is working on an AR device... Apple can definitely popularize the concept. We may or may not have AR devices by the end of this decade

I think the smartphone is the maturation of the mobile phone market. Smartphones will evolve but I think what we have is more or less what we will have for decades to come.

They aren't going way unless(if this really happens, not saying i want it to) we all implant chips into our bodies.
