I think there was a roger rabbit cartoon in the 90s for short time but I can't remember if it was a cameo or a short lived series, could be wrong.

Yeah probably. If it's somewhat watchable and there's a good attempt at trying to create the look of the first movie, its good enough for me at this point. Let's just hope it gets made some of the sites talking about are claiming it will be released in september it seems kind of fake:
