Or years having certain parallels? For example, 2001 and 2021 gets compared a lot by me and others on this board. astro wise yes, 2001 and 2021 do have strange as F timelines

Sometimes it repeats itself, but only singular events... Not whole periods/decades.

History many times rhymes but doesn't repeat.
2020 and 21, in my opinion, rhymes with what a worst-case 2008 and '09 would have been.
The 2010s rhymes with the Roaring 20s in the 20th century.

If something has already happened, it can’t exactly repeat, because the rest of the world has been affected by its occurrence. Instead I think patterns can happen again. If you don’t pay attention and learn to assess patterns pulled away from their respective context, then the same mistakes can occur over and over. That also applies inversely, where you cannot necessarily expect a pattern to continue working (or not) immediately after it just did (or didn’t). But overall, I’ve always been a big believer in learning from history.
