Around every 20 years, fashion styles from previous decades come back. Now in 2021, a lot of early 2000s fashion trends are making a comeback. Would you say tech trends of the early 2000s would make a come back with a modern twist? Maximalist design was everywhere in the 2000s even with the tech. Everything just had to be bold and pop. Would you say that would be the case in the 2020s? I still see 2010s flat, minimalistic design everywhere, but maximalism is also coming back too or they both coexist kind of like MacOs Big Sur and Monterey. Back in 2019, I heard speculation of touch screen flip phones being made. I won’t be surprised if they make a come back in the 2020s, due to the slowly rising mid 2000s nostalgia. Early 2000s nostalgia is still dominant. It would be cool if tech looked colorful, personable, diverse and unique like they did back in the 2000s. Goodness I remember those bling flip phone or cell phone cases being all the rage in the mid 2000s. In the 2010s, tech seemed to look uniform in colors like gray, black, silver.

This would imply that the 2010s saw a revival of 90s design
We know this isn't 100% true
