Sounds very 2016, so both. Spring through early fall 2016 is a unique era where it doesn't lean strongly to both eras.

This type of future bass definitely existed earlier in the mid-2010s, so it's not "no way"
But the indie vocals and this sort of melancholic vibe into EDM wasn't really a thing until 2015-16, so I guess it fits more into the late 2010s.
