Why has a lot of stuff been coming out lately?

By stuff, I mean secrets, corruption, things like Me Too and other movements. I don’t know if I’m wording this correctly. I’ve noticed in media since the late 2010s, a lot of people and systems have been getting exposed for how corrupt they are. More people have been speaking out about injustices and how they’ve been hurt. I’m sure technology and social media plays a huge part. Why do you think this is the case? Does this have anything to do with the alignment of the planets, stars, etc? Is this part of a cultural reset or reboot? Since 2016, I’ve been hearing about a cultural reset or reboot taking place.
