I'm excited to see the fall of hip-hop because I'm excited for what is going to replace it, i think hip-hop itself is pretty fine.
I do think most 2000s rap songs fu©king suck tho

I think this is actually probable. Hip Hop seems to be stagnating in many spheres, a lot of its survival depending on crossbreeding watered down aesthetics with trap. Pop is seeing massive resurgence.

Pop is seeing massive resurgence. It's actually quite telling when you think about it that rap-rock (ala MGK, Youngblud, 24KGoldn) has seen a sudden resurgence over the past year or so, which to me is a good indication that hip-hop may be going through something of a decline in Top-40 popularity at the moment. It has really become heavily reliant on rock and pop influences. To be honest, it would make perfect sense too, considering it absolutely dominated the popular music sphere between 2017-2020.

Hip-hop comes and goes all the time. It fell off in the early 2010s, came back in the mid 10s, might eb dying right now, idk, but it's definitely going to come back eventually. Same with Rock, tho, i suspect this pop-rock resurgence will be the last time rock comes back. If hip-hop goes the way of rock, it will die eventually, but i think the 20s and 30s will be solid decades for hip-hop. if hip-hop is going to die, it will probably happen sometime around the late 30s/early 40s.
