Personally summers in the 2010s never struck me distinct like in the 2000s and 1990s, finding it hard to answer.

To be fair, I based my 2010s summers rankings off of my personal life, not the culture as 2010s culture is a blur to me. 2000s culture is definitely more distinct. In the 2010s-present pop culturally summers tend to blend with the spring or fall, sometimes it's a bit hard to cut them out.

I supposed technology, streaming, internet and social media causes 2010s to present summers to feel that way. 2010s to present summers are a blob between spring and fall, end of the previous school year and beginning of the following school year. They mostly have no distinct cultural identity. No wonder the 2010s are the most culturally stagnant decade I've lived. Summer 2016 had a very distinct atmosphere, also 2014-2017 summers had this "tropical" vibe to them

Y'all keep forgetting that during the summer of 2020 the world was fucking ending, and during summer 2021 we were still being terrorized by the plague The 10s had nothing like that

True but I felt the tropical aesthetic style and fashion vibe was there all year in the sense of the style, even when it wasn’t the right season. Pokémon go blowing up in the 2016 and Corona being notoriously scary and hard to adjust to, after the first few months, for the first time 2020 are the only things that stick out. Late summer 2010 felt a tad bit more 2010s and late summer 2013 felt a tad bit more officially mid 2010s. You could argue the subtle diving line in 2015 cut across the summer. I can’t say there was major atmospheric distinct uniqueness in certain 2010s summers that come to mind.

I know exactly what you mean lol Lack of the " IN YOUR FACE POP CULTURE EVERYONE OUTSIDE" energy, most of the 2010s summers felt devoid, like they had music and movies and stuff but they were still lacking something like a pop/punch in your face.
