Around like 2011 electropop started to sound really different from before in the late 00s. It sounded much louder, synthier, more explosive, more maximalist and just generally "clubbier" than 08/09 and some 2010 e-pop hits.

There's many more examples I can use. Anyone else notice it or is it just me?
