I mean stuff you feel there’s no going back on, can’t hit the undo button and just crossed an invisible line.

COVID. Sure the virus will probably stop being a pandemic in the next coming years, but at this point it feels way to strong and with all the variants I doubt it'll ever fully go away.
Even beyond that, the effects on the economy and people's social lives will stay for awhile.

Cd and tape trading culture prior to 1999 I think CD can definitely enjoy a bit of renaissance later on, same way the vinyl is doing in the last decade or so. Definitely not to 1999-2000 levels of sales, but definitely at least a subtantial niche market.

-Old school texting only (unless free apps start charging insane prices) -Physical video formats going back being the only option, like pre-file sharing physical music mentioned earlier (unless a internet shortage) -Old school pre-digital graphic design/illustration/printing techniques that computers replicate identically (not all handrawn things) -FM Radio, not digital, radio gaining the same old school popularity (even by 2000s standards) -Classic channels blowing up again on regular cable again (tv cable is dying) -Very politically incorrect mainstream advertising, films and media found in earlier decades (unless things totally change)
