Now this is Gen X spirit right here! Some outfits look ahead of their time. I posted this same video like a year ago lol. In latter 1989, a big chunk of what would later be considered 90s fashion, associated with 91-94 or 95 was to some extent established, even if not 100 percent. It kind of mixed in and co-existed with late 80s fashion, this even applied to some extent even among much much younger kids around my age then. The footage above is from an illegal rave in the UK I think summer of 1989, raves were massive then. I think UK was ahead of the head US in a number of ways by 1988 tons of things from UK were already ahead of their time, acid house, which started in the Uk, was largely associated with help shaping the 90s look. 1988 acid house rave footage:   Acid House 1988 footage
