Things I would like to see/think might occur:
Phones: Holographic tech in full formation, loss of chargers, flexible screens that you can manipulate with your hands in air hopefully. Expect to see 10x smart tech in more areas, house/car/roads etc, with more detailed choices and options, things like personal helper robots becoming more common place.
Physical media: Micro SD card, High fidelity cds, or super tiny chips or enhanced vinyl formats that store music or films that surpass current high quality digital streaming
Gaming: VR and holographic tech getting really advanced taking over gaming and changing the game.
Stores: Bringing back rental stores, reintroducing malls and more interesting pop up shops as at least a niche option - as opposed to generic 2010s stores, things like amazon and ebay physical storefronts would be interesting. The concept of smart stores or apps having everything you need, in one shop nearby, and super fast delivery speeds is another thing.
Dating: Apps that force you to meet quality people in a different way in real life where common ethics and healthy dating activities are agreed to before hand as part of a structured program commitment plan towards serious dating or marriage.
Educational reform: Drastic measures to improve learning, in schools and college, and change learning dynamics focusing on real world careers and practical knowledge at an earlier stage, reducing useless excessively difficult math and memorization based tasks and catering more to how different people retain and learn information while exploring what they can be best at earlier. A radically different setup from university to career world as well.
Job reforms: Entirely different modes of working; more creative models of working remotely, creating more diverse and fun oriented jobs with entirely different work methodologies, easier systems that help to find work, easier career shifting programs and alternative ways of training, especially with changing times, and more affordable and practical ways of acquiring degrees or knowledge. $500 dollars a month makes sense for everyone especially for those that are unemployed or in hard times.
Medical: More affordable and effective tracking system that measures what you are deficient in, physical and/or mental health wise, a providing you with smart solutions real fast, possible use of inserted chips, surgeries that can radically alter memory, vision, knowledge, how you have children etc more cures for numerous diseases (Covid, HIV, etc) in general. Changes to healthcare payment models.
