If we see a bunch of changes happen in 2022 and Covid is no longer a thing by the end of 2022, do you think the mid '20s will start earlier than usual and we will be fully immersed into mid '20s culture by 2023?

I think the pandemic will end in 2023 tbh considering vaccinated people are still getting the virus

It could happen but it also depends on how '23, '24 and '25 goes if something bigger or about as impactful as COVID starts in those years(climate lockdowns for example).
I think 2023 will be the beginning of the mid 10s when COVID reaches herd immunity status and is treated like a flu next gen will fully take off with games only being made for 9th gen consoles(switch 2 might come out as well) and trumps base will be revitalised when trump announces he will run in '24. Pop punk might become mainstream then as well since interest for it has been slowly creeping in underground and we finally have a #1 charting pop-punk song this year.

The mid 20s will be when people start feeling nostalgic for the late 10s
Specifically around 2023
Feel old yet? Lolololol

People already are because of COVID Not the same thing at all there is legit nostalgia for 2018 and 2019 though, especially in the hip hop community since it's before some great rappers like Pop Smoke, XXXTentacion, Juice WRLD and more died. I guess we're kind of airing out rappers like 6ix9ine and Lil Pump being huge in 2018 now lol.

2020s barely have an identity, and barely have an identity that defines the early 2020s, or preceding transition. 2020 was mostly frozen pop culturally, so it was like we killed off a year, so 2022 might be the start of the early 2020s, with 2021 having a few hints.

Like i said, it doesn't compare People still shit a lot in the late 10s, it is seen as the time when the world started going to shit While everyone loves the early 10s and think life was perfect back then What I'm saying is that by the mid 20s people will start to see the late 10s in a similar way

I strongly disagree. This is peak early 2020s right now. You want to know the identity? Covid-19.

No, the mid 2020s will not start early or even on time with the way pop culture is going right now. The early 2020s have barely started. 2022 will likely be what 2002 was for the early 2000s. 2002 was peak early 2000s. 2022 will likely be peak early 2020s. I do not think we will get the earliest hints of mid 2020s culture until at least sometime in 2023, which is the earliest I predict the core 2020s to begin and when the 2020s will hopefully have their identity full formed. I predict the cultural early 2020s will last, at the latest, through Q1 2024. I expect 2022 and at least Q1 2023 to be identical to now with 0 changes. The early 2020s started over a year ago...

Yea I think at this point the early 2020s will be seen in the opposite light as the early 2000s, doubt there will be much nostalgia for it even if there does it won't be as near as strong cause of COVID, as well as the political turmoil.
