The early 10s was quite a big shift for technology

It's an underrated shift technology wise when you think about it. Especially 2010 and 2011. Smartphones became mainstream in this time, the Ipad was released, Windows 7 becomes normalised and overrtakes Windows XP, Google Chrome overtakes Internet Explorer, Xbox Kinect and 1080p HD became normalised. If we include 2013, streaming started getting popular, social media got a lot more fragmented with vine, twitter, kik, snapchat, trumblr and instagram going mainstream. 8th gen consoles came out and, tablets became mainstream and IOS 7 came out.
