When would say the transition from late 2010s to early 2020s culture began and ended. I would say it began somewhere between late 2018-early 2020 but can’t really pinpoint exactly. Also, do you guys think the transition is complete now in December 2021?

Also, do you guys think the transition is complete now in December 2021? refer to my Fall 2021 thread made earlier this year, but to answer your question the transition has it's roots in late 2017/early 2018 but did not start until Mid 2019. April 2019 is when the transition kicked off, ( this continued even when Covid was just started)

I think we’re still arguably in transition, but at the tail end of it.
Q4 2018 through Q1 2020: Phase 1
Q2 through Q4 2020: Phase 2
Q1 2021 through now: Phase 3 (hopefully the final phase)

I mentioned late because thats when all the throwback songs started getting popular. Around like May all the classic 2010s show were out the door, I actually did make a thread around that time asking the forum if they felt things were feeling different lately, I can't find the thread may have deleted it lol It's weird like in May I remember things feeling too quiet as if something was looming around the corner

I think most of us will agree that fashion formed it's 2020s identity.

I remember maybe Q4 2018, but definitely all of 2019 having a "fading out" vibe. AirPods blew up around this time. Almost everyone I knew had a pair. The 2010s stuff was slowly starting to fade, yet nothing was coming to take their place. Disney Plus came out December 2019, so that did not really have an effect on 2019 as it does on 2020 to present. That could be responsible for the looming streaming wars of the 2020s. TikTok was already huge in spring 2019. 2001 and 2019 are number 3 years according to numerology. it felt like dead and alive at the same time, like a quite stroll in the car as the rain is pouring

it felt like dead and alive at the same time, like a quite stroll in the car as the rain is pouring That's a fitting way to put 2019. 2019 oddly reminded me of 2009. Many people remarked how those were lackluster "9" years were. 2019 felt slightly more connected to the 2010s than 2009 felt connected to the 2000s. 2019 def had this faded away vibe, not as faded as 2009 tho, but you could feel it. The "new era coming" but "not quite there yet" Not to mention later this year I posted a thread in here about astrologers talking about January 2020 a 9/11 type of echo event will happen.

It didn't feel that transitional though even before COVID. 2019 was mostly just a phasing out of old cultural products and a new social media platform but generally still has the same aura as the 10s.

"Fake Early 2020s" (Phase 1): April 2019 - March 2020 Phase 2: March 2020 - January 2021 Phase 3: January 2021 - now (December 2021?) I have so much nostalgia for the fake early 2020s it's not even funny. I guess who wouldn't since that was the last time the world was still normal and we weren't oppressed as citizens.
