If so, when? Or is pop culture yet to reach it?

If so, when? Or is pop culture yet to reach it? More like everything "safe" has been done before. There are a lot of directions that it could go, but we are currently living through the most conservative era since the 1950s. Pushing boundaries isn't in right now. Giving people what they know is.

The scenario of popular music since 2020 has been very depressing, pretty much every huge world hit song since 2020 has been a throwback song
This leads me to believe that the pop music industry has run out of ideas to promote and is now trying resorting to ripping off music from the past
With that being said...
I hope there is going to be some kind of musical revolution in the next 10 years, hopefully new genres become popular

The only fresh new genre on the music market is the modern RnB

Pop music today is written to be "safe" and to make money. It's no longer an artistic expression like it once was. Throwback songs are much safer than pushing new boundaries. I'd compare this era to the pre-Elvis 1950s.

People complain alot about Late 10s music but atleast back then it was the fresh-sounding music that was charting at No. 1.
