In the early 2000s, people looked at the early 1990s with disgust.
In the early 2010s, people looked at the very early 2000s (2000 through Q1 2001) as a corny time with teen pop everywhere.
I’m unsure if people now in the early 2020s see the early 2010s as tacky. I still hear early 2010s music being played wherever I go.

The early 2020s are a combination of apocalyptic, churchy, and uncomfortable. Pretty much the opposite of cheesy and corny.

The early 10s are definitely seen as tacky, i see people making fun of them all the time I think the eboy/egirl shit is definitely going to be seen as cheesy a few years from now, same way emo is seen as cheesy/passé since 2013/2014 Some popular games like Among Us will also be seen as cheesy Not sure about the music, throwback music doesn't age If a song doesn't age then it can't become cheesy
