if anything 2019 will be the one to get the most love It doesn't need to be redeemed, it was never considered a bad year(besides everything new bad edgelords) and has been worshipped like hell since COVID made it look like the calm before the storm.

I hope not. There's still an unfair stigma around 2001 even though there were so many great things about that year before that faithful day and even after it. While 2020 in comparison was at least 1 billion times worse.
But then again, 2016 got apparently redeemed pretty quickly so who knows at this point.

While 2020 in comparison was at least 1 billion times worse. But then again, 2016 got apparently redeemed pretty quickly so who knows at this point. Life went on for most people in 2016 though. It didn't in 2020. 2020 was the reason everyone was so upset in 2016 when Trump was elected. We knew that a generation-defining catastrophe and a 50-75 year setback for civil rights was in the cards.
