I see far more whining and crying and moaning about "woke" culture(which is usually just a random black guy in a video game or people saying racism is bad or something similar) than actual "woke" culture. We're at the point in 2021 where literally anything with an ethnic character or female lead is just written off as woke and people are using the term to complain about minorities or women in video games or movies or whatever whilst trying(and failing) to not expose themselves as bigots. And then there's the complaint about "political correctness" from people who can't admit that they just want to call people slurs without being held accountable for it. I'm tired of seeing these people constantly bringing politics into everything. I sure hope that anti anti-woke or in other words anti anti anti-bigot culture kicks in this decade.

"Woke" to these neckbeards in 2021 is any media where there is anyone that isn't a white male playing a major role in the plot. The paranoia from these people have reached an all time high. It won't be long until they get triggered from just seeing a black NPC in games.

I remember that back in 2016-2017 "woke" was used by conspiracy theorists to denote someone who "woke up" from the "Matrix" and stopped believing in the government

It feels like we are living in the 1950s. If you aren't WASP, you are a target in 2021. It's becoming more and more clear that American society really wasn't ready for an African-American president or same-sex marriage to be legalized and that's why we are currently seeing such an extreme backlash.

Nightmarefarm, I ,too, have noticed a huge number of people bashing Woke Culture during this decade too. Last decade's trend of people advocating for social justice is definitely starting to no longer be popular unfortunately. Also, from what I have seen, dark humor is starting to be popular again unfortunately. If I could take a guess as to what lead to last decade's trend of people advocating for social justice no longer being popular this decade, then I would say that people (especially comedians) bashing Cancel Culture is what did it. I guess last decade's trend of people advocating for social justice no longer being popular during this new decade and dark humor being popular again during this new decade are parts of the backlash against the 2010s. Another thing I want to say is that I am very shocked to hear that YouTube has been taken over by the anti-woke crowd. The reason why I said that I am very shocked to hear that YouTube has been taken over by the anti-woke crowd is because videos that bash Political Correctness are usually taken down by YouTube's mods. I don't know why YouTube's mods are not removing YouTube vids that bash woke culture as of recent. Given that YouTube's mods are employees of Google, maybe the reason why they are not taking them down from their site is because their employer (Google) see money in the anti-woke rant YouTube vids.

Yep, those type of people are crying on the inside whenever a black guy is the main character. Republicans are so angry when they added an Asian muppet in Sesame Street its hilarious and sad. Imagine feeling threaten by that. The right loves to complain about cancel culture only when it happens to their own circles. They also tell people on the left to toughen up but they start to shake whenever a minority is added to the plot of a movie or video game. I do have a dislike towards the far-left Twitter crowd but the anti-woke alt-right crowd is also not very good.

Truly can’t stand it either, any LGBT or Non-white or both gets a shitstorm of criticism over “what do they even bring to the plot”

As for the term "woke", the PC advocates/proponents just stole that term but that's ok because we all know censorship does not equal to being awake.
