Perhaps unsurprisingly, Seven has been announced as the most watched FTA network, for the 11th year in a row. However, the gap between Seven and Nine is starting to become smaller, so it should be interesting to see how both networks perform next year (especially coming off the back of several flops, such as Family Food Fight, Yummy Mummies etc.). Here are the final results for 2017:
Seven: 29.6% Nine: 28.1% Ten: 18.0% ABC: 17.1% SBS: 7.2%

Who’d have thought that would be the case on that last point? Surprised about that 14% decrease for Seven News Melbourne. Mind you, 6% drop for Nine isn’t good either. Melburnians are tiring of the commercial networks news services are they?

Melburnians are tiring of the commercial networks news services are they? It would be interesting to know why that is the case, given that there haven't been any significant changes to the news services of the commercial networks. You could only assume that the content on the news services must be the issue.
