I know this post is late as that survey was taken almost 4 months ago. I found the article interesting because I recall John Titor and Slashpop saying how summer 2001 sucked. Here's the Article:
This poll confused us, because most people think this summer SUCKED . . . but we also want more of it?
A new survey of 1,500 Americans found 80% of us had a, quote, “bummer summer.” But 48% also wish there was a way to extend it for another two weeks. (There’s actually almost a month of summer left, by the way.)
Here are a few more random stats from the survey. . .
1. 27% said they’d rather have a root canal than relive this past summer. () 37% would rather move in with their parents. And 9% would rather feel seasick for three months straight.
2. The states where people were most likely to say they had a terrible summer are: South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
3. And here’s the weirdest question they asked: What did the summer of 2021 TASTE like? 21% said “fruity” . . . 18% said it tasted like “boredom” . . . 15% said “bitter” . . . 11% said “salty” . . . another 11% said “spicy” . . . 10% said “boozy.”

IMO:
Summer 2021 wasn't as bad as summer 2020, but that's when I lost hope of COVID getting better.
Sprinkles, I am one of those people who think that Summer 2021 sucked. The reason why I think that the summer of 2021 sucked is because the pandemic made it stressful. Another reason why I said that I am one of those people who think that the summer of 2021 sucked is because the stress I ended up having during it caused me to be klutzy during it. Actually, I think this entire year sucked because of the pandemic causing me to be stressed out and therefore, klutzy during it. As an American, I want to sue Donald Trump so bad for him doing a poor job trying to end this pandemic and turning it into a monumental clusterfuck as a result of his negligence but I was told by a lawyer on Reddit that an American citizen cannot sue a current president or a former president.
You can tell that the buffoon-in-chief's cabinet members were incompetent by them standing behind him looking like the Three Stooges during press conferences about the pandemic. As for the buffoon-in-chief himself, he was standing in front of the room during those press conferences looking like the kid in class who didn't study (Shit was cringier than an episode of Nick Cannon's new talk show). From what I have read, I am not the only one who has been acting crazy/cringey during this pandemic and everyone has been acting crazy/cringey during this pandemic. I read that the reason why everyone has been acting crazy/cringey during this pandemic is because of the stress it has caused. Our former president could've acted swiftly in regards to stopping Covid from harming our country but he decided not to do so.
