People still missing the point Can they even read? He's arguing that the 10s musically are very consistent compared to other decades and even then it's not true. The music in 2010 is almost the polar opposite of the music in 2019.

Yall know the OP is the same guy who thinks there is no difference between 2008 and 2019, also thinks the 2010s began in 2008.

The music in 2010 is almost the polar opposite of the music in 2019. It is true, 2010s music was way more consistent than 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s and 60s music I'm talking about RELATIVE change It is a fact that there were less music changes between 2010 and 2019 when compared to 2000-2009, 1990-1999, 1980-1989, 1970-1979 and 1960-1969 Like, if you don't believe me then just go listen to a hit song from 2000, then compare it to a hit song from 2009, then do the same thing with other past decades But people just keep missing the point cause they think OP meant there were no changes in music during the 2010s

Weren't you the one who created a whole thread just to say that there were no differences between the 90s and 2000s? Lol.

Most songs are either r&b or rap or rock. 2010s music was all over the place. You had electropop being big then trumpets then EDM then tropical house then slow indie pop and ballads then mumble/rap trap, then bedroom pop then throwback pop. Even individual years are schizophrenic musically with all kinds of different music charting besides rock/metal. www.inthe00s.com/archive/inthe2010s/smf/1469161984.shtml

Yes and no
2010s music was consistent in the sense that there’s is a homogenous or typical sound of the music. When we think of 2010s music most of us think of some sort of electronic music or trap or indie. We can all guess what a typical 2010s song sounds like.
On the other hand, 10s music was also pretty inconsistent as there were so many music trends due to the change in the way we listen to music now. Sure EDM was a consistent genre all throughout the 2010s, but there’s so many variations of it that were popular over time. These three songs below can all be considered EDM but don’t sound consistent

People still missing the point Can they even read? Look, people are disagreeing on the sole notion of the consistency of the 2010s no matter how much said consistency stacks up compared to the other decades. If someone says "oranges are red compared to kiwis and bananas", the statement is still faulty no matter how much the analogy seems in favor of the main subject due to the even lesser latter two.
