An underrated facet of the decade, when the 90s got cheesy it got REALLY cheesy. Beating the 70s at its cheesiest somehow. Although the Europeans are mostly responsible, the other side of the pond also had its moments.
And let's face it, most of them were undeniable bops.
And... alright I said in the past I hated this song due to the overexposure, but I've come around. It's undeniably catchy and mindlessly fun. The video is still unwatchable tho.

Lol. I'm going to have to agree. And 90s music sounds so dated now.
The only music from the 90s that doesn't sound old: Grunge and Alternative Rock.

your forgot this Literally the cheesiest song of all time Yep, definitely a monument of cheese. I actually skipped over all the famous cheesefests that I don't really care about, like "Macarena", "Cotton-Eyed Joe", "Achy Breaky Heart", "I'm Too Sexy", "Ice, Ice Baby" or anything by Toy-Box. But there are definitely more!

And there were people who ranked the 90s low for cheesiness ranking decades… My opinion? Second cheesiest decade only behind the 80s. That’s my take honestly.
