I had a portable cassette player when I was a kid (I still own it ). One of my favourite hobbies when I was younger, was to record myself playing on my drum kit with my cassette recorder. I still own the tapes as well! Have you ever owned/used a cassette player?

Yes, I do; however, I don't remember when I stopped using them though.

My parent's bed (frame) in the '90s had a cassette player built into it. I wonder where that bed is now, perhaps it is still getting some use But yes, I grew up with cassette in my early childhood in the '90s. Had a cassette player in the living room, the car only had a cassette player, my parents bought their albums on cassette. I used to record Disney movies OST on cassette. Switched to CD sometime in late 2001 or 2002, although some audiobooks in the library were still on cassette, of which I still borrowed up to as late as 2004!

Yeah, when I was younger. I have a turntable atm that also has a cassette attached to the side of it. Still have loads of tapes I need to put onto CDs much like I do with vhs tapes onto DVD.
