Not to bring the mood down or anything. But I’ve been trying to grapple with the reality of our dying planet. I just want assurance that everything will be ok, but it is nowhere to be found. All articles I read are so vague. “Humanity is in a code red.” “We have little time to prevent the worst possible outcome.” Ok.. what the hell does that mean? Am I going to run out of water in my life time? What is the hell is going to happen? A 60-70 degree day in December is not normal where I live. Neither are tornados in December. To add to that, a few days ago it was really smoky outside. I found out it was from a wildfire in Kansas that spread to us because the winds were so strong. A wildfire. In Kansas. In December. It flooded so bad this year where I’m from that cars were being swept away. And this is just what I’ve experienced locally, let alone what I see on the news. It’s gotten to the point where I have been having nightmares about environmental catastrophes. I’m just sad and angry that I have to live at a time when all of this is happening. I just want a white Christmas, but sadly, for like the third year in a row, it probably won’t happen.

The worst thing about it is knowing that the world is never going to meet the net-zero emissions targets by 2050. We're already going through what has been called a "sixth mass extinction" event, and all it takes is for a change of government to undo any progress towards becoming carbon-neutral.
We're basically doomed.

While I feel that the world is changing, I personally don’t think the world is going to die. The planet has been around forever. It’s just evolving from one form to another. I do believe that it’s important for everybody to be aware with what’s going on with the world’s climate . But I disagree with the world is about to die though

I strongly agree. There is also a nation called Kiribati, located just Northwest of Australia, with over 100,000 friendly people who have been trying so hard to maintain their land and culture. Sadly, because of global warming, the island is sinking and a lot of people's homes have been flooded or wiped away, which really hurts 😔 A lot of people had to move to Australia or New Zealand as climate refugees, and this is no joke.
Look at the natural disasters that happened this past year, and yet people are still denying global warming, honestly this hurts. The more I hear about this, the more I lose faith in humanity.
