There's virtually zero practical benefit to using it over a regular smartphone which fits perfectly in my pocket. And on top of that it's comically expensive.

My friend has one and I just can't see the point in it lol. The people buying it probably think it's the next smartphone and want to be early adopters.

People used to think touch screen phones were a gimmick too, it took like 4 years for them to become the norm Perhaps the same will happen to foldable phones Truth be told: all it takes is for apple to make a foldable iphone, Apple can make anything popular

The price will drop over time Yes but it's going to take it much longer to drop to catch on(assuming that it even does) whereas the Iphone was affordable the year it came out if not a year later with the 3G. Optimistically this won't catch on until at least 2024.

I was actually reading some of the features of that phone earlier today. Would you know if the mic is any good? It would have to be because I do live singing sessions. The information I was reading earlier didn't say anything about the mic. So I really don't know.
