I was interested in hearing other people's thoughts on this. Given the decision to discontinue airing certain programs in recent times, there has been talk that WIN may want to discontinue their affiliation deal with Ten at some point and become an independent network. Do you believe WIN has the finances and resources to go it alone and independently program their network 24/7? Do you think it would ever be viable, or is it just a pipe dream?

Contrary to past threats from Bruce to go independently as a network, I highly doubt he would ever go through with said threats, as I seriously doubt it would be viable in the long run. How would he be able to programme his network 24/7? Old US soaps and Crawford's content will only get him so far! And who would want to deal with him to get any other potential sourced content to begin with?

In saying this, I wish he would! Then we can see WIN fail and then bought up on the cheap much like the Murdoch's and Gordon wanted for Ten. 😜
