It's basic supply-and-demand laws Specially the monkey NFT shit the supply is too big (10k) and the demand is is controled by a bunch of hyped up people who think they'll be able to resell their monkey NFTs in the future for huge sums of money Basically the same thing that happened to comic books in the early 90s and beanie babies in the late 90s People will realize the demand is fake and they'll try to sell their NFT monkeys but no one is gonna want to buy their extremely overpriced Microsoft paint drawings, so they'll try to lower the prices to sell the monkeys, creating a race to the bottom for prices But this time it's even worse than beanie babies and comic books Beanie babies are cute, (some) people still collect beanie babies because they look pretty People collect comic books because they're cool and etc So there's still a very tiny (and low priced) demand for beanie babies and bubble-era comic books But what about NFTs? Not only they (usually) ugly asf, but they're also FREE IF YOU SCREENSHOT THEM LOL.

They're absolutely worthless and a total waste of money. You're literally buying an animated icon for buttloads of money with no positive monetary gain. And apparently the community is also stealing dead people's work to gain profit for themselves through NFTs as well. Just disgusting all around.
