The culture of late 2009 through mid 2010 leaned 2010s, but many 2010s things weren’t really established yet like the fashion, TV and movies. Cartoon Network and Disney Channel were still in the late 2000s era. 2009-2010 season was the equivalent of the 2000-2001 season.
2010-2011 season or late 2010 through mid 2011 was a step up.

I can understand why some people see this season as leaning 2000s.

I think it lasted into 2018 or 2019 no? I remember watching movies from then with glasses but the peak period was 2009 to 2016.

Honestly, the first school year that leaned 2010s IMO.
2009 was kinda lame for me lol.

I actually love my 2009-10 school year. Probably the highlight of my life thus far. I was the happiest that I have ever been before. I made amazing friends along the way. Best Field Trip I ever experience was during this time. Even if the pop culture wasn’t the best, it was still decent and I love the direction the mainstream music was going at the time. Beautiful era for me.

I always remembered that as a peak early 2010s fad. I may be wrong though. The peak might’ve been 2009 to 2016, basically the early and mid 2010s. I believe you’re right. the fad was over by 2017 but some movies still used 3d going into 2018 and 2019

This school year sucked, but is the first one to lean early 2010s.

That season felt a bit weird and didn't really pick up steam until the spring but I still love this school year either way. Late 2009 was the most disappointing part of it for me tho.

OH MY GOD. This was such a fucking stagnant and slow year. Literally NOTHING happened. And the pop culture that DID come from this year SUCKED (Justin Bieber, CN Real, Annoying Orange).
